1998: Started all 17 games on the season… Recorded 3 goals and 2 assists for the Bobcats… Coach McClelland quoted, “ Karen dominated the center of the field in ’97. We used her to mark the opposing team’s best players and she never failed. She is incredibly consistent and I can’t wait to see her play this season…. Named to All-AMCC Team

1997: Started all 20 matches on the season…Scored 4 goals and added 1 assists… Named to All-AMCC Team…

1996: Started in all 18 matches she played in… Added 2 goals and 9 assists for the Bobcats…

1999 Season Highlights

Carrie Lysik, former assistant, was named head coach for 1999 campaign of Frostburg State women’s soccer. The Bobcats finished third in the AMCC regular season and returned again to the conference tournament where they faced La Roche, this time coming out on top 2-0 in the semi-final match. Frostburg received it’s second bid to the AMCC tournament championship in it’s history and was again defeated by a feisty Penn-State Behrend 2-0. The Lady ‘Cats finished the ’99 campaign with another winning season, 11-10 overall and 2-2 in the AMCC regular season.
